Descent by Design: Winter Solstice Ceremony

December 22, 2025
6:30pm - 8:00pm
Museum of Contemporary Art in Wausau

This season calls us to rest into the darkness. Across traditions, this is the time of reflection, death, and rebirth...when the night reaches its fullness and the promise of light begins to reappear.

It is a moment to sit with what has completed its journey, to honor the cycles that have shaped us, and to trust the slow, steady renewal that can only arise from surrendering into the dark.

We come together as a circle… tending the embers of our inner warmth, listening for the wisdom that only deep stillness can reveal. Through reflection, movement, breath, and gentle ritual, you will be guided to shed what no longer fits and to welcome the first faint glimmer of the light returning.

This is a time to soften.
A time to listen.
A time to prepare the fertile ground for beginnings yet unseen.

A reminder that in the heart of the darkest night, the seeds of awakening are already stirring.

This is a women’s circle and is intended to be exclusive to women.

Nikolina Adzic is an energy healer, embodiment guide, and facilitator devoted to rewilding. She guides women to connect with their bodies as sacred landscapes and to live fully through awakened senses. Through her work, she invites women to descend into their own truth, honor their inner rhythms, and reclaim the wild aliveness of their being.
